Automated production of non-woven face masks.

As demand for masks soared during the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses sought to diversify into PPE production. Petratto developed SKY to meet this demand with a complete, high-performance solution: a fully automated, dual-line system for producing flat non-woven face masks, with up to 4 layers.

SKY is engineered, assembled and tested at Petratto's facility in Pianezza, Italy. All mechanical components are manufactured in Italy, electric parts are sourced from European suppliers, and the software — fully developed and owned by Petratto — ensures full control and integration.

Safety has been a top priority from the start. All moving parts are enclosed with fixed or lockable guards, preventing access during operation and ensuring full CE conformity.
