Traditional die cutter PDF106
Format: 70x100

General information
High-speed die cutting for large-format, high-volume jobs.
The PDF106 is an automatic high-speed die cutting machine built to process 700 × 1000 mm formats and a wide range of materials — from 80 g/m² paper to 5 mm thick stocks, including B-Flute corrugated board.
Ideal for medium to large production runs, PDF106 performs cutting, creasing, perforating and kiss-cutting.
All PDF106 models (PDF106, PDF106T, PDF106E, PDF106EB) come with an automatic feeding head, capable of handling stacks up to 1,600 mm high and feeding at up to 125 sheets per minute. Precision side and front guides with photocells ensure smooth, accurate feeding of materials.
Equipped with touch screen controls, the die-cutting pressure can be micro-adjusted with accuracy up to 0.01 mm, offering full control over cutting quality across various substrates.
The delivery system includes photo-electric safety sensors, adjustable depressor brush, optional automatic belt table for non-stop delivery, stack height up to 1,350 mm.
With high-speed performance, advanced control systems, and compatibility with large formats, the PDF106 series offers an efficient, flexible, and precise solution for high-volume die cutting.
Machines
PDF106 Variants
PDF160T with hot foil unit
In addition to the standard characteristics of PDF106, this machine is equipped with a hot foil unit. Foil stamping can be done in both a transversal and longitudinal direction. The latter can be carried out in two formats, horizontal and vertical. This way, there is enough space inside the machine for the operator to go inside and change the foil, shortening changeover time.
The foil winding and unwinding units are outside the machine, making it easier to set up the foil roll and increase the general performance of the machine.
An embossing unit and a creasing group are part of the standard equipment. The embossing plate is placed on a honeycomb plate. When the sheet passes through the die cutting unit, the embossing plate presses the sheet and the embossing effect is realized.
PDF106E with stripping unit
Like the other machines in the PDF106 line, the PDF106E is ideal for big runs, and designed for standard processes like cutting, creasing, perforation, and kiss cut.
In addition to the standard features of the PDF106, this machine is equipped with a stripping unit, characterized by a 3-action movement structure with upper, middle and lower stripping frame to help die change.
The stripping system matches with the centerline registration system in the die-cutting section, to minimize changeover time.
It is also available the PDF106ER model with die-cutting & stripping unit, plus heating device to die cut plastic materials. The upper heating plate is designed for PET, PP, PVC, PS PE, and PDPE.
PDF106EB with blanking unit
In addition to the standard characteristics of PDF106, this machine is equipped with a blanking unit, to eliminate the waste frame of the die cut sheet.
The blank is pushed down on a lower (female) chase by an upper (male) chase.
The finished blank is then neatly stacked on a pallet. This process is repeated until the specific number of blanks has been piled up. Remaining waste is sent to a non-stop collecting system and dropped into a waste basket for disposal.
Also, there is a paper inserter section to insert an interposing sheet between the shape piles, to separate batches and give a better support on the pallet. The blanking unit can be changed over to a normal waste stripping unit and the die cut product can be collected in the delivery unit.
